If we are doing a 1.4.15 release, can we backport a few of the other already-merged changes/fixes folks have been asking for? or do we want to defer those to 2.0 |

I would like to release 1.4.15 asap to fix the rustup's tool-state, so I would rather not go through any more work than bumping rustc-ap crates. If there are things you would like to publish before 2.0, then we can do so in 1.4.16 or 1.5 after releasing 1.4.15. |
